Over the last century, earth has seen unprecedented atmospheric concentrations contaminate our ecosystems due to human activity. Predictions state introduction of carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), will increase temperatures, change amount location precipitation causing more runoff. This could potentially result in disturbance events such as floods, be frequent severe. study aims perform an assessment effects a range hypothetical climate changes on runoff North-east Pond River watershed, located Newfoundland.
 To carry this out watershed model simulates basin for current climatic conditions that represent possible (Bobba et al., 1997). The showcase 2oC temperature total annual precipitation. then compared flood forecasting models analyze how affected by various conditions, inducing unusual flooding (Wijayarathne & Coulibaly, 2020). Previous studies have indicated sensitivity watersheds temperatures which raises concerns adverse may cause limiting water resources semi-arid regions parts Canada U.S. Thus, there is need understanding Canadian variability magnitude significant environmental implications.
